Community Engagement, Content Creation, Technology X Creativity

Building relationships and helping others to harness their creative superpowers

I have always gravitated toward creative endeavors. Sometimes that meant drawing, or making things with Legos, or performing in a play. As I entered the professional world, I discovered that I enjoyed using my creative thinking skills to solve problems. Some of my recent achievements include:

• Developed and facilitated a 2-week intensive e-learning program, incorporating instructional design principles and adult learning theory to design engaging, interactive learning experiences, resulting in a 4.7+ out of 5 rating from participants.

• Designed and launched the Campbell d.Studio, an innovative professional development space that resulted in increased.

attendance at professional development offerings and higher outreach for Digital Innovation Coaching services.

• Collaborated with a state-wide cross-functional team to develop the California Teacher Innovation Network, offering a variety of virtual professional development workshops for over 100 participants utilizing the design thinking process.

• Successfully implemented and managed an online gamified professional development program for over 250 employees, resulting in increased employee engagement and skills development through the completion of over 400 micro-learning trainings.

• Launched a new Creativity and Design course for over 700 learners, designing curriculum on design thinking and creativity technology tools; curricula have since been adopted at multiple sites throughout the organization.

• Co-founded an annual global creativity social media challenge, #Sketch50, reaching over 500 participants through Twitter and Instagram. I am an advocate for play and creativity in learning for all ages. I believe that we are all creative and that our most powerful connections to content occur through moments of design, discovery, and joy. I am trained in design thinking through the Stanford d.School and am experienced in navigating ambiguity and using an empathy based, bias-toward-action approach to problem solving. I offer a variety of freelance services, including social media content creation, visual design, and community management. I am also looking for my next full-time adventure where I can showcase my creative, problem solving, design thinking, visual creating, technology integrating, hyper organized skill set. Oh, and I love connecting and learning from others, no matter what field you’re in. So don’t be shy - click that Connect button and say hi!
