James Lawrenson

EdTech Specialist | Scaling expertise for impact 🎯💬🎮🎬

I scale expertise for impact. But what does that mean? Let me explain with a cheeky fill-in-the-blank: Client: "James, I have a [problem / opportunity] that I need your help with.

I think my [staff / students / market / customers / suppliers / clients] need [training / skills / experience / knowledge / a behaviour change / a mind shift]. What should I do?

Me: "Great! First, let's work together with your team to unpack the [problem / opportunity]. We'll collaboratively explore the need and come up with a solution that we can test, iterate, and measure."

Client: "Sounds like a plan, but what will it look like and what will it cost!?"

Me: "Well, we'll start with an analysis and solution design. That's a flat fee. From there I'll outline what the solutions could be, how long it would take to implement, and what it would cost so that you can decide how to proceed. Sound good?"

Client: "Yeah, that's reasonable. What has this looked like in the past?"

Me: "Good question. Generally it starts with some collaborative workshops that I facilitate so that you and your team can co-create the solution. My expertise is in digital content so the solution could be an [online course or learning game, podcast, awareness campaign, video series, article, etc.]. It all depends on our design goal."

Client: "Let's get cracking!"

Me: "Full steam ahead!"
